MnZn Ferrite is one of the common soft ferrites used in electronic applications, particularly, signal transformers and power transformers. MnZn is highly resistant, with a wide range of operating frequencies, low loss, high permeability, temperature stability, a large selection of material, versatile shapes of core, low cost, and light weight. In particular, MnZn has higher permeability and saturation levels than NiZn. So, for applications below 5 MHz, and applications with common mode inductors below 70 MHz, MnZn ferrites are commonly used.
